Pinot Blanc
Named after James' land cruiser from the 70's. 100% Pinot Blanc from the Paracombe sub-region in the Adelaide Hills. Vines are 7 years old on a Northwest facing aspect. Whole bunch pressed to older French oak for barrel fermentation. Some lees stirring took place post alcoholic fermentation. Barrels were topped regularly and allowed to rest for 6 months before bottling. Textural and vibrant with nice citrus and stone fruit notes, subtle spice adds a nice layer of complexity. The palate is rich but retains lovely freshness thanks to good natural acidity.
