Pinot Meunier
Max's Rouge is a cuvée of 85% Pinot Meunier and 15% Pinot Noir. Growing on shell limestone and yellow and red sandstone. Mostly whole bunches kept gassed for two weeks under carbonic with a small amount of direct pressed juice. Pressed to mostly large old wood where the wine remained on solids for 9 months until bottling.
