Cabernet Franc
A GIWC favourite stemming from our love of Loire Valley cab franc. Fermented as whole berries for around 8-10 days and pumped over gently. Ferment is pressed off whilst juice has retained sweetness and tannins are low. Results in a fruit forward wine with purity, shine and beaming with dark berries faint minerality and herbaceous characters . 2023's wine has depth, colour and complexity with a longer palate and great mouth feel. It’s cab franc no mistaking and this year returns to its deeper and darker style like we are used to.
