Limestone Coast Chardonnay
Chardonnay
A blend of Chardonnay from Mt Gambier and Coonawarra. Mt Gambier fruit grown in heavy flint rock soils over limestone give the wine a schist driven mineral focus with precision, bright acidity and direct. Coonawarra’s famous V&A Lane vineyard is known for some of the best grapes in the region, giving a fleshier, more rounded palate with a creamy, texture finish. Combined this creates a moreish, balanced chardonnay with a medium weight which has bright acidity and a mineral drive with really good palate weight. Elevage in both barriques (barrel fermented) and stainless steel.
