Les Grechons is an excellent site, located at the top of the hill on the same white marl soil as neighbouring Corton-Charlemagne. The sunny aspect gives plenty of ripe, exotic fruit character, while the soil and relative altitude bring an intensely mineral finish that really grips the palate. This would humble many a more famous name.
